What is it about?

Having a choice is a wonderful thing. It’s one of those things that make it great to be alive at this point in history. However, we shouldn’t forget that too many choices and options, more often than not, confuse people. When I think of too much choice, I always think of an ice cream shop – I stand there with 25 flavors of ice cream in front of me and I can’t decide because they are all good. But not all of them are equally good.
But, seriously, for many people it feels like that – many choices presented bring confusion about what they really need or want.
I am talking about choices because there are more options today how you want to learn English than ever before. Let me say that a little bit differently: if you decide to learn English on your own, for free, you could do it without a lot of difficulties. A very important thing to remember is that there is no universal formula or recipe on how to learn English (or any other language).

Every single learner has his/her own specific previous knowledge and experience they bring into the learning process.

Imagine how much different learning English is e.g. for a 47-year-old woman who is the CEO of her international company (she needs English for multimillion deals), a 20-year-old university student who needs it only to pass an exam and a 15-year-old boy in school who does it because everyone tells him he needs to do it. There are very large differences in attitude, motivation, previous learning experience, previous using experience, availability of time, availability of other resources, the urgency to improve the language level, readiness to try new approaches in learning, using various types of devices and technologies and so on. By now, it’s quite clear that most of the things that would help the 47-year-old business executive would mean nothing to a 15-year-old teenager.

That is why having a clear plan of how you should approach learning English is a priority.

At the bottom, make an appointment for completely free consultation sessions about how you should learn English in the best possible way.
